A Spring Break to Remember
It was spring break and our family was on vacation. We rented a home that ended up being right next door to a small cemetery. Our 12-year-old was more than just a little freaked out over our new neighbors.

One morning at 2 am, I was awakened by what sounded like drag racing in front of our house. I fell back asleep, but a little later I was woken by flashing lights outside my window. I didn’t think too much about it until the next morning when I saw there had been a serious accident right outside our front door.

A gold pick-up truck sat in a crumpled heap in the graveyard, three of its tires dug into the ground as if it had spun in a circle, pushing its way into the soft earth. The front windshield and driver’s side window were shattered, the airbag deployed, and there was significant damage to three sides of the truck including the driver’s door. The truck had missed the wall of our rental house by less than a foot.
Over the next few days, my energetic attention kept being pulled toward the accident. Who was the driver, what were the circumstances, and did the driver live to tell about it? My intuition was telling me no, he did not, yet Spirit kept nudging me to seek answers.

It was Not a Coincidence
Finally, my intuitive questions were answered. I was shown that the driver of the truck had been killed. I saw that he left a companion and a toddler daughter. I got the message that everyone called him Junior, except for the mother of his daughter. She was the only one that believed in him, took him seriously as an adult, and called him by his first name. Junior was considered to be a troublemaker and one that no one would ever expect much of. He had a way of messing things up, being in the right place at the wrong time, and this was yet another example of that.

Spiritually I was called out to the graveyard. In my mind’s eye, I went out and saw Junior sitting on the curb, his head in his hands. He was talking about how he always messed things up. I believe that he had died so quickly in the crash that his spirit was not aware that he had passed away. I sat with him for a while and was surprised that I was not afraid. I was actually quite calm. One of my spirit guides, Divine Mother, joined us and I moved out of the way. She gave Junior a healing and then left with him by her side. I believe she was helping him to move on spiritually.

That night I realized that I was shown this experience for a reason; our ability to book this particular rental house right next to the graveyard where this accident happened was probably not a coincidence. I realized that I was being shown that I could be instrumental in helping souls that had left their physical body transition and pass on a spiritual level.

Being a remote area, Junior’s truck sat in the graveyard for four days before it was towed. Our friend Uncle went to take a closer look the morning it was taken away. He came back and said, “Oh, how sad. There was a child’s sippy cup in the front seat.”

I guess I had already known that.
