Heaven is not up there somewhere. Heaven is cultivated from within. Jesus is not up there somewhere. Jesus tries to communicate from within. Jesus is one of many who are trying to guide us. Christ consciousness is not out there somewhere. It is within. The Kingdom we seek to enter one day is not up there somewhere – it is within and available now.

So rather than look out there for the truth, for joy, for satisfaction, for peace, look within. It is in silence that we find the answers and guidance we are seeking. So, rather than react to what is happening outside of us, we can just be still – be quiet – and tune out the jibber jabber going on all around us as part of our typical day. Instead, we can cultivate the ability to receive the guidance and wisdom we desire, by just being silent.

Our ego minds will say there is no time for sitting quietly for 15 or so minutes a day. There is too much to do. But God just waits. Jesus just waits. Your guides just wait. And, when the time comes where we embrace the truth that it is in the quiet times where we receive the answers we are looking for deep in our souls, then the door is cracked a bit. Our willingness and intention is the invitation – the invitation to allow God to create through us what is good, holy and beautiful by following his guidance. And, his guidance is always nudging us towards choosing love over all else – choosing forgiveness over all else – choosing peace over all else.

As we choose in this manner we play a part in bringing Heaven to Earth right in that moment. So we look within for answers. We look within at our thoughts. We forgive judgemental thoughts. We gravitate towards creative happy thoughts. We remember who we truly are as beautiful divine beings. And, we find peace.
